The Agriculture Processing and Marketing Centre will come up at a cost of Rs. 2.5 Crores under SDP and around 3000 UV Films to SHGs and Progressive farmers will be distributed under the scheme.
On this occasion, Executive Councillors Punchok Tashi, Aga Syed Mujtaba, Mohammad Ali Chandan and Mubarak Shah, Deputy Commissioner Kargil Baseer Ul Haq Chowdhary, Principal Scientist KVK Kargil Dr Mehdi Akhone, President MC Kargil Zaheer Hussain Babar, and other district officers and progressive farmers were also present.
Talking to Media, Chief Agriculture Officer Kacho Mohammad Ali Khan said all these schemes will help the progressive growth of the farmers and the SHGs which will indirectly contribute towards the Mission Organic Development Initiative,MODI Scheme to Make Ladakh Organic.
