A well-marked low pressure area layover central parts of south Bay of Bengal and adjoining equatorial Indian Oceans at 0830 hours IST of today, the 11thDecember 2018. It is likely to concentrate into a depression during next 24 hours and intensify further into a deep depression during the subsequent 24 hours. It is very likely to move towards south Andhra Pradesh and adjoining north Tamil Nadu coasts during next 72 hours.
Warnings:
- Heavy rainfall warning for south coastal Andhra Pradesh and north Tamil Nadu: Rainfall at many places with heavy falls (64.5-115.5 mm/day) at isolated places is likely on 15th Dec 2018. The increased rainfall activity is likely on 16th December over these areas.
